Home controls

HomePad uses compatible accessories, scenes and cameras already configured in Apple Home. Grant Home access when requested. It does not replace an Apple TV or HomePod used as your home hub.

Weather

Choose a city during setup, or grant location access for your current area. If location is unavailable, select a city manually. A network connection is required for updated forecasts.

Photos

Select a photo during setup or customize the photo face later. The separate photo-library view uses the photo access you grant in iPad Settings.

Music

Music features depend on your chosen service, account and device permissions. To disconnect Spotify, use HomePad’s music settings and, if desired, revoke access from your Spotify account.
